During her childhood in Rome, Osanna and her sister Turchese would play with pieces of art created for their mother by Lucio Fontana, Mario Ceroli and Arnaldo Pomodoro. It could be said that the pieces she creates today are inspired by those wonderful memories, or, maybe, are a result of her own femininity….or maybe both. In recent years, Osanna's attention has focused increasingly on objects and furnishings. Artisanally made, every creation is modeled by hand from wax which is then fused in art foudry.
Creations conceived as sculptures, metals blended to create flashes of antique gold: An aesthetic of esclusivity, research on forms and desire to explore shapes are an integral parts that inform Osanna Visconti di Modrone designs. There are fusions of bronze, for those who love to conceive striking objects, shapes in which the contrasting proportions indulge in a playful hyponosis between expanse and void. Strong luminous pieces that revisit minimalism yet still somehow recall the gold of the ancients, each with the undeniable touch of artigianal craftsmanship
